The Mt. Philo Gallery is a small artist owned contemporary visual arts gallery located in Vermont's Lake Champlain valley; a space for artists of all stripes, a venue for music, poetry and ideas.  The gallery is in a nineteenth century one room schoolhouse building, part of the Inn at Charlotte B&B.  It is located at the foot of Mt. Philo, on the corner State Park Road and Rte 7, Vermont's busiest north/south road.  It is twenty minutes south of Burlington and twenty-five minutes north of Middlebury. 

Duker Bower, artist and Gallery owner, bought the Inn at Charlotte in 2003.  He envisioned the schoolhouse as a studio/gallery; a place to exhibit his artwork, the artwork of other artists and a place to connect to the area's artistic community.  The Gallery is open by appointment or chance during the off season months (which in Vermont can be anywhere from four to eight months), with regular hours durning the late spring, summer and fall.  Call for more information at 802 425-2934.
